Consultation on services to support young people that are not or are at risk of not being in education, training or employment (NEET) - children and young people's questionnaire

Closes 3 Jul 2020

Opened 22 May 2020

Overview

This questionnaire is for children and young people. If you are a parent, carer or a professional then please fill in the other questionnaire which is relevant to you.

We are finding out what people think about services that support young people that are not or are at risk of not being in education, training or employment. These are sometimes called NEET services and are provided in Northamptonshire by Prospects. Their website can be found at:

https://prospectsnow.me/

Prospects Advisers help young people to decide what they want to do and support them to achieve this. This can include help to look for work and Apprenticeships, such as preparing CVs, making applications and preparing for interviews. Prospects Advisers also tell young people about courses and training that can help them improve their skills and qualifications for future employment e.g. college courses, the Prince's Trust and traineeships.

If a young person needs help with other areas e.g. mental health, relationships, money, Prospects Advisers can assist young people to find the right specialist help.

We will be renewing the service in April 2021 so we are looking at the service to see what works well and what could be better.

In this survey, we ask for information about you but no-one will know who said what. We keep all this information safe and put it into a big report that shows what everyone has told us. This will help tell the people who make decisions about the service what you and other people think.

You can leave any questions you do not want to answer.

This survey closes on 3 July 2020.

If you would like any help completing this questionnaire, or would like to talk to someone, we will be available by “Zoom” on Monday 15 June 2020 from 4pm to 5.30pm, please email sufficiency@childrenfirstnorthamptonshire.co.uk for further information.
