Weight Management Service For Adults 2019

Closed 15 Nov 2019

Opened 30 Sep 2019

Overview

Northamptonshire County Council want to help more people to maintain a healthy weight or to reach their weight loss goals. Residents are able to access free weight management services if they have a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 28 and above. This service is a 12 week group programme through a variety of providers. The Council wants to ensure that these services are meeting the needs of residents who want to lose weight

Why We Are Consulting

The Council’s Public Health and Wellbeing Team have developed this questionnaire to find out what helps people to lose weight and how that can be applied to weight management programmes in the county. The questionnaire asks for brief information about you, your knowledge, awareness and opinions of services that help people lose weight.

Please could you take about 10-15 minutes to tell us your views by completing this questionnaire.

Your feedback will be used to enable us to have a better understanding of our peoples’ views on weight management services and will help us shape the future of these services. Your feedback will be part of a report with many other people’s feedback, so you will not be personally identified.

The Council is interested in your views even if you have never used a weight management service.

Thank you for helping us by completing this questionnaire.

What Happens Next

We will use the feedback from this questionnaire and other information that we collect to develop our thoughts for the weight loss service. We will be taking reports to Council decisions makers during the first few months of 2020.

We will put an update on our Consultation Hub as to where and how you can access the reports once they are produced.
